I am using Pad Mode and I kinda like it. disabling my eq knobs really sucks when I have a song which is lacking and eq effect and I cant change it, so the Pads are it for me. Good tip on the light touch, I was holding down constantly.

I'm having trouble with the stems. For example when there is no song on any decks it works for vocal instrumental and beat but when I load any song it stops working and disables the stems to high med and low it automatically switches.

Awesome video dude!! I am so excited to experiment with these new VDJ 2021 functions. I love the on-the-fly remixing abilities!!! I can totally see implementing these at an event especially for as you mentioned a situation where someone is making a quick announcement on the mic and we just isolate the kick drum.

We are 2 yrs down the road from your original post and ,,,,, The new stems really messed some important capabilities. 1. The stems are a mess if you dont have a relatively new laptop with the Nvidia RTX card. The new stems will sound like crap. 2. If you use them on the older Laptops, they start to mess with the sound quality of following songs and the only fix is to restart VDJ. I aint grumbling because its all in the name of progress and with the right Laptop the stems are 100% fantastic.

Thanks for watching and subscribing. I imagine it would work with the 6000, especially since it is a 4-channel controller and and works natively with VDJ. As for audio settings, I just use the default settings in the audio tab. Nothing fancy.

It's really defendant on the quality of the original file. There's not much VDJ can do to enhance it.

Hi there. Thanka for the video. I love the stem function but I am having a major issue. Let's say I load a song on to deck one. The stems don't work. But if I load that same song to deck two and try the stems again the it works. Doesn't matter which deck I use first, I basically have to load the song twice then only does it work. Any advise? Kind regards

Thanks for checking out the video ... are you saying the STEMs are only computing when you load it in the other deck? What if you load a song, and then load it again later (after loading a different song to either deck).

tell me where do i need to put my dj name drop to load on the software? when i need it i can just hit the button.

You would do this in the sampler pad. Just drag the file into a sample bank and you're good to go.
