Hey Kiana, I heard the ghost girl is actually the one who died in a pond. So if you happen to purchase a pond in future episodes, she might appear near it and start freaking out because yknow...she died there. Also, she’s always looking for something because there’s a storyline where before she died, someone moved out of the house and left behind her toy there. I think u have to find her toys or collect all of the toy collectibles. Also u have to complete the family picture collection to stop the flickering lights I think.

So currently on my 3rd generation, still no info on the ghost... they bring a priest in to bless the house, an electrician to try to fix the lights, and nobody can figure it out. They keep saying they need to do research, but I'm guessing that'll happen when I get new computers in the next generation.
