State Forester David Arnold leads a virtual field trip for a group of Martin Luther King High School students (Nashville) to discuss the importance of planting trees along creeks (a.k.a. riparian buffer).
David was joined by UT professor, Dr. Sharon Jean-Phillipe, and TN Urban Forestry Council program coordinator, Robert Elliott, as well as 3 UT students enrolled in their urban forestry program - Kayla Stuart, Jaq Payne, and Maddy Johnson.
