Thanks for the explanation sir, I have understood from your video, even though we assign a reference of derived class object to base class.. compiler accesing a base class member function(Show function) only, to avoid this we are making the base class member function as virtual...could you please provide the reason, why compiler invokes base class function even though we assign an address of the derived class obj? Is it occur due to bottom to top approach?

I think, bcz we have created the pointer and its datatype is base(class) so complier will access print fun from base class instead of derived class. If we dont want to access base class fun then we need give other name for all functions
