Very interesting walk! Thanks for the little rest stops along the way, after the steps, and before climbing back up. That's a really wet-looking walk, and the overhang looks really low! Keep 'em coming. Thanks again for posting.

Yes, it was damp at times. Just made a new video of the same walk the other day. But this time, there was snow on the ground. It was breathtaking, and it'll be online here within a week or two.

Beautiful hike Tall Sky, Oregon is so green. That waterfall is amazing. I wonder why day hikes are only allowed there. Maybe because at night the animals come out. Like how the trail hugs the side of the mountain. Looks very foggy there, lot of water in the air. :)) The railing is nice, just in case you slip. The stone wall man made barrier is cool. :) Moss everywhere, nice! All those trees with moss on them are straight from a spooky story. LOL. Another fall up trail very nice at 10:29. That semi quasi cave at 13:20 is cool. Big thumbs up from M Outdoors. Thanks Tall Sky. :)) Thanks for the virtual hike.

Always appreciate your input. Yeah the spooky story idea with the moss - lol. Yes, a mist in the air, but the fog cleared as the day flowed on. I assume liabilities is why rangers set those rules...besides, if someone slips then SAR has to come out and most of them are volunteers who'd rather be doing their own thing. I'd love to film the moon through and behind the falling water, and a flashlight would be enough to safely get there at night - but if caught would probably be banned or face a hefty fine. Animals here are harmless provided people follow the common sense guidelines. Occasionally black bears come into the park, and even less often cougars. If it's my time it's my time, but I won't throw caution to the wind. (Eleven times I've come across bears while hiking, so it's only a matter of time before the next one.) Next time I'm there I'll ask rangers specifically if they ever allow after hours visits to North Falls - unlikely though. It's the most common denominator factor... you get one person who is stupid in the wilderness and the rest of us land up paying the price. They make their rules with the assumption that a significant amount of visitors would not be responsible, and are not experienced enough, or skilled enough, to handle the fall trails at night. Maybe Big Foot is out there hahaha

Oh, funny you mention that quasi cave at 13:20. I actually got out my better low light camera and zoomed up into that above-head opening. It appears to go quite a ways up, but becomes about a foot in diameter at about four feet up into it - I didn't bring my 1200 lumens flashlight (which would have illuminated beyond that for the camera). Something to try maybe next time - Lord willing.

Is like I took the walk with you, I was telling you: Is a little scary, let’s keep moving. LOL loved loved your video, I’m from Oregon, I went there like 15 years ago, what beauty ✨👍🏼✨

The first time there it was a little scary to me too. It's been that way hiking in the remote woods alone for me... at first it was scary and every little sound I would think, "cougar" or "bear" or "Deliverance (the movie) red neck",LOL,...but nowadays I feel safer up there than on city streets. As far as this alcove, the rush of the water and the dramatic rocks overhead, this fourth time there it is a majestic rush to re-experience! I hope you can go again and see if it has changed in 13 years.
