The word "Kasoti" in English means "Tester" and in Urdu script, it is written as "کسوٹی". The synonym for kasoti is " Examiner and Quizzer". It is actually a guessing game. A quiz show, very popular in Pakistan.
The program was initially produced and televised on Pakistan Television in 60's. It was continued for many years. Later, Several other private TV channels produced similar program with different names, like Mastermind, That's it, etc. The two hosts remained the same in all variants of Kasoti.
Mr. Qureshpur and Mr. Ubaidullah Baig were truly geniuses. Both are no more in the world.
Virtual Kasoti is the original creation of this channel. This is episode number 4. After the success of the earlier episodes, this episode was produced with two well-known guests, Dr. Ikhtiar Baig and Dr. Abdush Shaeed Naumani.
The guests may write the name of any personality, building, animal etc. Mr. Ubaidullah has to guess the question in a maximum 20 questions, with the reply from guests in yes/no. The success rate to guess the correct answer is 90%.
