yes just run the setup.exe and enable color for all or hit F1 in table and enable color.

Hi Rudy, so I'm just doing a brand new install. I see you have a few installation videos for pinup popper, which are great by btw. But it's a bit confusing to know which one to follow. Does this latest version supersede the others? + with regards to the download folder titled "VPinball Complete Update 3-24-24", is this not needed now? if this guide does supersede the others then would it not be better for any newcomers to just delete the previous ones? Excellent as always Rudy! Can you go over your Nvidia settings again? I was curious if they have changed since the original video. I still cant get frame pacing to run smoothly on my machine, when the flashers go off the ball starts stuttering. Im on a 3070ti and have tried numerous different settings to no avail.

Great guide. Do you have a different video dedicated to downloading new tables after installing this? Configuration went well, but I’m new to adding tables. My Skillshot came pre-loaded with FX3 titles. I got some sort of ROM error. Is that a separate download outside of the table?

I'm still to finish my build, and I''m shifting to a 4 screen setup. playfield, real DMD under the glass just above the plafield, Full DMD that I'd like to play Pup packs on, and then the backglass where I'd like to display the regular backglass. Can you tell me what screens from the setup go where? And I've updated to your Nov. full update, but now it's January - what should I install to get up to date? Thanks!

If you did November you should have popper 1.5 auto updater. It will keep everything up to date. Set it up exactly how I did in the video except pick real dmd. But place all your screens how I did on the 3 screens. Really kinda pointless to have a real dmd and the full dmd. You can use it for dof and have lights for some tables but really just an extra pain to mess with and redundant dmd. And it won't use B2S dmds those will be on the full dmd. But it's your machine just set it up as 3 screen with real dmd.

@@rudysarcade I saw a system with RealDMD just above the playfield - instead of flashing LEDs it was playing the scoring and other video style content that plays on the DMD. It was cool so I'm trying to do that. I want to put PupPacks on the Full DMD, and the backglass can have the traditional backglass. I'm struggling to get my Windows 11 PC to recognize the RealDMD. I'll be glad when I have this stuff mastered!

If you 'think' you have installed the c++ packages but are not 100% sure, would it harm to install them again anyways? Or is there a way of checking? Great content as always, and always new you was going to blast past that 1000 subs!

Hi Rudy! Thank you for this guide! I did as the steps shown, but for the leprechaun game I get an error saying “ActiveX component can’t create object ‘UltraDMD.DMDobject’” I get the same error for SpongeBob, but instead of UltraDMD, it says FlexDMD. On the other hand, Spiderman Vault edition worked perfectly. What am I missing? Thanks!

Never mind I found the issue, I had to register flexdmd and ultradmd. Now the rims work :)

Hi Rudy, I installed a Dude board in my older setup and it worked fine, but I wanted to do a refresh, and I formatted the drive and installed a fresh copy of Win 11 and Baller installer 2311 from Nov 30, 2023 and everything went well except for one issue that I got an error on FlexDMD that I diagnosed it to be an error where FlexDMD did not register and that was corrected. My main question is that the new Dude board that I put in on the older setup (it worked fine on that) but does not work on the new setup. I tested the Dude board within the Dude configurator and it sees all the buttons and solenoids and all tests out well. then I checked the joy.cpl which is configured for the Dude Board and all the keys work in Windows 11. Any suggestions on what to check next ? The only other item that I can note is that in the older setup the Dude board was configured for Com Port 3 and in the new setup it set itself up as Com 4. Should I remove Baller and try it with a different version of Baller ? Thanks for any suggestions in advance. Cliff

@cliffwolfe not sure what a dude board is I'm guessing some button controller. But any cheap board will work.. Have you configured your buttons in vpx and popper?

This installs Everything! Flex and freezy is in the vpinmame folder where it always is.

No mine is not I have installed it hundreds of times. Just saying if it's fresh you will probably need the c++ packages installed. But good to install them anyway if you never have.

Thank you so much! But why does it not save the view I adjusted in VPX64 (F6 - Edit). Going to save and as soon as I reboot the view is set back...

Watch the pov video.. but basically no need to save a table anymore.. when in the POV mode after you make your changes just press the start button or 1 on the keyboard to create a .ini file with all the information for that table.. that way if the table updates you can use the saved ini for the new table.

I did the install just as you showed, and I am delighted! My only issue is that the DMD is too low in the DMD screen. How can I recenter it?

Just drag and size it with the mouse and bottom right corner. Right click and save

However it's clear that Pinup Popper is more powerful and flexible, and I am so glad you showed me the easiest way to install it. And video pinball in 4K is amazing!

Rudy thanks for doing these videos question - if I am using my gaming laptop for this could you explain how to do the screens cause I will have technically 4 screens - 1. Laptop 2. Playfield 3. Backglass 4. Dmd

1st of all how you going to do 4 screens with a laptop? Laptop is not really good for Vpin as the laptop screen will always start 1st and it's hard to keep the screens in the correct order in windows. 2nd the screens must be from left to right Playfield, Backglass, DMD, laptop and you could use laptop as a Topper

@@rudysarcade will it work unfortunately I didn’t know that 4k atgames was coming out so I bought a nice laptop that should be able to handle the 4k and my previous system isn’t strong enough to run 4k The newer laptop is a i9 13 gen with a 3080ti and 32 ram 5200. While my old desktop is using a 2060 and i5 11 gen and 16ram …..ugggggg

@danfink8670 not really. As a laptop normally only has 1 extra output. Unless your laptop comes with 3 outputs or at least 2 it just really isn't viable.

@danfink8670 so you can use 1 hdmi port for the playfield and you can get a cable and use the mini display port for the backglass that's it.
