I still do really well on "historical" questions, though my ability to recall is a bit slower than in days of yore! 58/65. Not a bad week for me, this one - aside from the logos which didn't go as well as I thought! You really picked some tricky ones there. 10/10 on pictures, 8/10 on entertainment, 19/20 on 50/50, 5/5 on connections, 6/10 on logos, 10/10 on GK. I will try 22,500 miles for the Equator. It's presumably just the circumference of the Earth, but I can't remember whether that's in the 10,000s or the 20,000s...so if that's embarrassingly far out that's the explanation!

52/65. I am late so no need for tie breaker. Just to let you know Basking Sharks have a gestation period of over 3 years and other sharks may be even longer. There is also amphibians that can have similarly long gestation periods but these are more due to environmental factors slowing down pregnancy.
