My 1st trip to Capulin was in 1976. I saved that information pamphlet. I dug it out the other day and it said the volcano erupted 7000 years ago.. Thanks for putting this video up!

Ranger Melissa is awesome. She sold me my 2021 annual pass and was so kind and knowledgeable and patient. A real asset to the National park service. The volcano was cool too.

Excellent video. Really glad they discussed grass species too. That sort of thing is important and interesting.

FYI, it's in New Mexico. Woulda been nice if that information was in the title or description somewhere. That being said, thanks for putting these on YT for all of us to learn from.

Lots of good places to go in this area, mills canyon, sugarite canyon, and the newly opened fisher peak in Colorado. Harsh weather conditions so be prepared.

Would help to identify the state this park is in? It's not in the description.
