Virtual reality therapy helps people overcome mental health issues by offering a safe space to practice new skills. Since 2020, when the FDA approved virtual reality therapy for therapists to use during the pandemic, researchers have found it's effective for phobias and PTSD as well as ADHD, autism, and addiction.
