A year later, when I'm returning to this song for nostalgic purposes, your prediction has rang true. (fall of 2017, man. Good times, it was when I made my first song, and a pretty good time in my personal life as well. there are 3 virtual riot songs that always remind me of that time, this one, Idols [yeah, I discovered it really late], and Lift Me Up) He's made nothing but riddim for a very long time. I'm sick of it, I miss the old Virtual Riot who made drops that weren't just 2 serum patches and an automation clip. I miss the Virtual Riot who made songs like this one, who made what is arguably the best melodic dubstep and electro house in the world, who branched out into every EDM genre under the sun and made something amazing every time. I miss the Virtual Riot who made me excited to see his name on a song. He was original, unique, creative, and amazing at what he did. Now I think he's decided to chase the money, going hard after the latest fad genre that's gonna die in a year, making songs that are damn near identical and neither hit hard nor give you chills like his old music did. TL;DR: You were right. Fuck riddim, I want the old Virtual Riot back. Oh, and by the way - thank you so much for your amazing job of fixing my shitty mix on Resurrect.
