Virtual Spa: Relaxing Haircut *ASMR* *RP*

Hello everyone :)
This is a relaxation video which simulates the experience of receiving a haircut in a calming salon and spa. Please clear your mind, relax, and enjoy the many soothing sounds featured in the video. :)

This was the first ASMR video I ever saw, while searching for something relaxing on KZbin when I was going to bed that night. My life has been in a downward ASMR-infused spiral ever since, and I have you to blame for that. i.e., THANK YOU. And you remain probably my favorite ASMR KZbinr. =)

I find it awkward just in the sense that it's a kind of strange thing to do. It doesn't make me uncomfortable at all, and I actually love to revel in the weirdness of ASMR. It's fun to have a sense of humor about it. :)

I used to have really terrible skin, and when I was a teenager I took a round of Accutane. Since then, my skin has been pretty well-behaved, though I sometimes get mild breakouts. I don't use any fancy cleansers now...just some cheap exfoliating soap I found at Walmart. :)

Well, the flirting aspect is kind unintentional, but I can see how people may find the whispering and close personal attention sensual. I made this video with a woman in mind, but it could also work for a man with longer hair.

It was a thrift store find! It's sort of hard to describe...it's a plush Santa holiday decoration that is supposed to be hung around a door handle. I draped it over the camera and scratched it. It has fuzzy tinsel type stuff on it and it makes the most amazing sounds! I might have to make a video showing it. :)

Short answer: record using two omnidirectional lavalier microphones spaced about 18 cm apart. However, "true" binaural is slightly more complicated. I suggest reading up on the binaural recording section of Wikipedia. :) If you are looking for microphones, both Core Sound and The Sound Professionals sell matched pairs of omni mics.

Actually, no. I am always surprised when I hear this because I am *cough* really terrible when it comes to my teeth. Die hard tea, coffee, and cola fan here. :) I do use whitening toothpaste though, and my dentist swears that whitestrips work just as well as the tooth whitening service you get in the office--though I haven't used those in years.
