The Parliament is based on a design of 64 devi temple in Madhya Pradesh. Although the temple is much smaller, the look is almost similar.

I'm pretty sure it isn't the designers made 3 designs and 2 were rejected for being over costly and less durable when it comes to face the extreme conditions.

@@rajput_swetank It is based upon that temple. Just as the dome of the Rashtrapati Bhavan is based on the Sanchi Stupa and not on any Greeco-Roman domes. The designs are always inspired by older architectures and hence fall under Indo-Sarcenic architecture.

Wow..well done this is great truth of parliament house of India. Very well disciplined and presentation hall too. This is our great culture of Hinduism. There is only things remains that once upon a time our nation was from Iran/Iraq till Indonesia and from Tibet till Sri Lanka but that only shrink to 30-40% land of actual Bharat varsha. Anny smart people's here??? Can someone explain me why this room is designed in the form of an Eye? You can 👁 the same design in the Euro parliament, You can 👁 The round shape eye all over all the Country's in Europe, Russia, France, Holland, Germany, the list is verry long!! Even my Lokal council has the same eye shape design. Its It's really wierd to 👁 this same shape and design in this Room.
