I used to visit here every week (Tuesday evenings) with my mother (RIP) when I was 16 and going though troubled times...over 50 years ago. It was healing...and I still miss it (and my mother) ...glad this is still here, largely unchanged.

My cousin became involved with the ashram of Parmenhansa Yogananda as a teen. When I was about 12 he took my mother and I to this garden. He moved into the Ashram in Riverside or the mountains &hi desert nearby and gave up all his worldly goods. This was indeed a beautiful place.

I've not been here, this place is beautiful. I've been to the Botanical gardens, I believe in Pomona many years ago. There was an enormous oak tree with the largest beehive I've ever seen. It looked like something right out of middle earth, not in s. Cali. I always expected Gandalf or Bilbo to pop out at any moment. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.😊
