[Project Rapha] is ...
a ‘Virtual Worship Project’ of christian musicians
started solely because we miss the joy and heart of praising God during this period,
where numerous church communities are facing trouble gathering due to the worldwide COVID19 crisis.
We are musicians studying at Seoul National University, Korea National University of Arts, Julliard and Manhattan School of Music.
But before this, we are God’s worshipers who wish to praise God with the talent he gave us.
All of our musical performances have stopped
but as God’s worshipers, we have decided to come together to keep the worship alive.
Although we cannot meet due to this remorseless crisis,
Worship will make an echo inside us and towards the world,
and shall exalt His holy name.
“New occasions teach new duties, time makes ancient good uncouth; They must upward still and onward, who would keep abreast of truth.”

Rapha is the Hebrew word that holds the meaning of ‘healer’.
This word signifies ‘full recovery’.
It doesn’t just mean heal as in what we can do by ourselves,
it means full recovery to the original form that God has made.
Our Creator God is the only one that can heal us completely.
He recovers us from the illness of our body and mind.
Furthermore, even from our sins.

1. We pray for recovery of our souls by the joy and heart of worship.
2. We pray that our worship be used as tools of consolation and recovery.
3. We pray our worship itself be the endless proclamation of God’s victory towards the world.

돌아서도 버리고 떠나도 도망해도... 여전히 기다리시는 하나님. 탕자처럼 돌아갈 수만 있으면. 양처럼 길 찾아 나설 능력만 이라도 있으면... 그런데 난 동전이라네. 길을 찾겠다고 헤멜 능력도 없는 잃어버린 동전 위로 먼지가 쌓인 내 모습. 주님을 기다립니다.
