Slideshow as audio-only visualization

I have been using ScratchLive and then SeratoDJ for 15+. Recently when working with another DJ tried out VirtualDJ and wow. Some of the GUI isn't great and the search for songs still needs improving but the video output and karaoke were very impressive. I see a lot of the user issues in the VirtualDJ forum go unanswered, which is another downside. Serato support is very responsive to user input.

I use Sonique visuals instead. I have the 32-bit version of VDJ.

so after testing the slideshow functionality, the plug-in stretches images to fit the screen there's no option to turn that off so if you have photos there will be stretched and there's no fix. Not a good look for clients who want to show photos during gigs.

I absolutely love VDJ but was sadden that Phase dj only works well with Serato do to the HID mode. Please please come with an update for HID mode for Virtual dj!!

I have a band that uses tracks, and we want to play the music video of the bands songs we are playing. How do I put the tracks to / on the music video so I can just hit one button and the song gets triggered?

Slideshow needs improvement. I have 30 .jpgs and 20 30 sec .mp4 files. I usually play a few music videos then switch to a couple mp3s. The slideshow REPEATS from the last mp3 I played. It does not matter if I have SHUFFLE on or off. I've done everything from renaming all the files (1, 2, 3) to naming all the .jpgs even numbers and the mp4's all odd numbers.
