This song was one of their last singles with Federico, he was dying of AIDS , more or less it a song dedicated to their fans saying that they will always find him in the music 😭. There is a phrase of him saying goodbye in the song: "por los parlantes te ire a buscar", meaning that he'll remain throught the years thanks to his music

Oh yesssss!!! Finally some Virus on here!!! This is one of the most especial songs of the band, Federico was dying of Aids, and this song is his goodbay to all of us the fans. Virus songs talk about sex (mostly) in ages were you couldn't talk about that (from 1976 till 1983 we lived under a militar dictature in Argentina). All the songs are sexy but this one talks about enjoy yourself, enjoy the plasure, even if everybody thinks is bad; he will get us trought the music to help us: "aflojate, sonríe fugaz, mi cuerpo astral tomará tu ser" (relax, smile briefly, my astral body will take your being). This way he is always going to live in the music. Thats why all of them seems to be sad or serious, Federico was dying and that video is the last one. The guitar guy, the curly hear guy in the synth and the singer were brothers, the only 2 alive still playing toghether. Federico is the voice of a generation, thanks to show to the world his wonderful music!

This video was made because in the TV show "Badía & Cía" where you analyzed Spinetta playing live recently (and that was the Argentine alternative to MTV, but 100% live on weekends) a vote was taken by part of the public by conventional post, and the beneficiary was going to win the full production of a video. That band was Virus. Although they had an interesting production for the time, they had to take good care of what each one did because they did not shoot in conventional video: Everything was done in high quality film (the same used in the cinema) was extremely expensive, and there was no opportunity for second shots. You will not find much video material (this you saw is a rarity) but there is good synth pop music made by them. I recommend you follow his lyrics.

Virus, a band born in 1979, in the city of La Plata, undisputed kings of undergraund of Buenos Aires in the years of military dictatorship (imagine doing this music in Nazi Germany) that happened! It was a virus that spread in those of us who were young at that time, and they opened the door to Soda Stereo and challenged Charly and Spinetta's complex musical structures and harmonies, with simple melodies that we could all play at home. During the 80's it was impossible to go dancing and not listen to them, today they are historical references of Argentine and South American rock. You can also see Zas, G.I.T., The Grandparents of Nothingness and many thousands of other "children of viruses"

Tenemos los argentinos la mejor musica del mundo hispano , por muy lejos. Grazie Frank, questo video è particolare, se non erro il cantante Federico Moura, era malato y faceva fatica a continuare. Federico è stato il produttore di Soda Stereo nel album Nada Personal. A me personalmente mi piace Il disco El aujero interior (canzoni El agujero interior, mi garage, el PROBADOR). Un altro disco è superficie de placer. Grazie ancora.

Hi, nice that you went through this! This is not their first but almost their last video. Singer had aids and they knew he was dying. You know that back in 1987 having aids was like the worstdisease you could have socially too. He had a hard time that year and had just enough energy for this last album, quite like Mercury 's last year. The band became cult band with the previous album "locura" with songs like luna de miel en la mano, or sin disfraz. But the full disk is their masterpiece in my opinion.

En ese disco recién se enteraban de la enfermedad de Federico Moura....el cantante....poco tiempo después moriría....por eso supongo la seriedad del grupo....el cantante...el guitarrista y el tecladista principal ...son hermanos...son muy parecidos entre si...fueron uno de los pioneros del rock argentino post golpe militar en el año 83...siempre con impecable sonido tanto en estudio como en vivo...con bellos temas y la excelente voz de Federico.....la voz de el y la de Gustavo Cerati....son únicas!!.....abrazo Frank !!...desde Mendoza Argentina.

Virus is Soda Stereo's alma mater. The singer saw them playing in a small club and he was their first producer. He died of AIDS in the mid 80s, which is a sad irony, considering the band's name. This song isn't, imo, the first one you should listen to to know this band. A very early 80s kinda style of a band. Songs: IMAGENES PAGANAS, MIRADA SPEED, PRONTA ENTREGA, QUE HAGO EN MANILA
