Hard to say where to start, but the genre is generally defined as Afrobeat. Try searching for Fela Kuti, Marumo, Pat Thomas, Ebo Taylor, Kiki Gyan, Manu Dibango, TP Orchestre Poly-Rythmo and more of these guys (Vis-A-Vis) and then just let the KZbin algorithm take you down a delicious wormhole.
