You do it yourself mah, but with EPIK they give you a settlement allowance which is like a repayment

Sorry for the late response, I would say have about 5-10 000 rands which is like 700 won ! In public schools they give you a settlement fee so you don’t need much from the jump

Hey Bee❤ Thank you for the useful information. I got accepted for the 2024 spring intake. My documents are delaying me, I think they will be ready by the beginning of Jan. Will EPIK have an issue for them being ready late? And do you think I will make it for the main intake or the late intake?

Beginning of January is still okay hun I think for me last year the date was 21st January but even if you don’t make it for the main intake babe it’s okay you can still come in March and April for the late intake

It depends on how much you usually spend, but with Epik you get a settlement fee which is usually enough to hold you until your pay day

Hi Bee. New subbie here - hope you’re good. Can I please ask, maybe Thandeka or someone can respond: considering how quick it is from contacting a recruiter to receiving a contract and heading to SK (Hagwons), when did she leave her job and what about notice period (if any)?

@@sage_bs hi welcome, she explained that the process can be very quick 1 or 2 weeks so if you already have a job put in the notice as soon as possible

I am just estimating but I think orientation would start second to last week of August and late intake would probably be September and early October

Hey sis sorry for the late response, it’s possible to study online especially if working in a public school but with the exams you have to time them for your holidays or talk to your school they might be willing to give you unpaid leave
