Ep 9 Dindi to Antervedi to Vijayawada, Godavari drains into Bay of Bengal, Andhra Pradesh Tourism

We started Andhra pradesh tour from Visakhapatnam and moved towards Araku, Lambasingi then Annavaram, kakinada, Rajahmundry and finally reached Dindi. In today’s video you will see our road journey from Dindi to Antervedi to Vijayawada.

This video was shot on 19th Jan 2023, below are the activities we did throughout the day.
Haritha Coconut country resort in Dindi - They have rooms in different categories, , we booked the double occupancy room at Rs 3840. This resort is run by the government of Andhra Pradesh(APTDC).
Boating charges - Rs 80 per person.
HouseBoat Charges: Rs 15000 with GST for 24 hours
Rs 12000 with GST for 12 hours
Rs 8000 with GST for 2 hours
We traveled to Antarvedi which is about 23 km away from Dindi.
Antarvedi Beach - The main attraction of this place is that you can see Godavari river which drains into Bay of Bengal.This place is also known for its beautiful temple town and beach too. Often people who hit up Dindi take a quick trip to Antarvedi.
Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple - It is an ancient temple. The shrine blesses the pilgrims with Mukti, and so it is also called the Mukti Kshetra. Antarvedi is also named after the Lord as Narasimhakshetra.It is said that Antarvedi is the second Varanasi by the grace of the Lord. Temple also provides meals for the visitors as prasad.
After this we traveled to Machilipatnam via ferry.
Ticket - Rs 15 per person.
Vehicle Ticket - Rs 200
By road Machilipatnam is about 100 km away from Antarvedi.
After reaching Machilipatnam we had Badam Milk at APSARA badam milk shop located near Koneru Center.
Badam Milk - Rs 50
Thatharao Sweets - It's an old and famous shop and we had sweets here.
Bandar Halwa - Rs 600/kg and Rs 35/piece
Bandar Ladoo - Rs 600/kg and Rs 30/piece
RK Mess - We had dinner here. They serve andhra food here.
Meal - Rs 100
After having the dinner we continued our journey to Vijayawada which is about 70 km away from Machilipatnam. And ended our day at Vijayawada.

bandar means port in persian language. Machilipatnam is also called bandar as that's the place which has natural harbour and used as port during qutubshahi rule in deccan till british rule. its a old and ancient town. During british era Congress meetings used to happen here, for some reason it didn't develop as expected and remained a OLD town
