AWESOME! Fade To Gray is a song that meant an incredible amount to me and in some way it has become an inner symbol of the 80s. I had just turned 15 when this was released in November 1980 and from the first time I heard the song I fell in love. I have since heard the song hundreds of times and listened to tons of remixes, but your remix is by far the best remix I've heard. This song has a very special sound and when it came out I remember it was groundbreaking and very different from other music, most of my friends at the time didn't like the song, only the few of us who were "synthists" loved the song . BIG Respect and hats off to you who managed to conjure up the right synth sound as it would have sounded half a century ago (geez, how old I've become). Now I really long to go back to the 80s and all the hours I stood and sweated at discotheques.

Fade To Gray est une chanson qui a eu un sens incroyable pour moi et qui, d’une certaine façon, est devenue un symbole intérieur des années 80. Je venais d’avoir 15 ans quand ce titre est sorti en novembre 1980 et dès que j’ai entendu la chanson, je suis tombé amoureux. J’ai entendu la chanson des centaines de fois depuis et écouté des tonnes de remixes, mais votre remix est de loin le meilleur remix que j’ai entendu. Cette chanson a un son très spécial et quand elle est sortie je me souviens qu’elle était révolutionnaire et très différente des autres musiques, la plupart de mes amis à l’époque n’aimaient pas la chanson, seuls les quelques uns d’entre nous qui étaient "synthétiseurs" aimaient la chanson. GRAND Respect et chapeau à vous qui avez réussi à conjurer le bon son de synthé comme il aurait sonné il y a un demi-siècle (mon Dieu, quel âge j’ai). Maintenant je rêve vraiment de retourner dans les années 80 et toutes les heures passées à me tenir debout et à transpirer dans les discothèques.

This song, "Fade to Grey," always reminds me of Brighton, Sussex ... Due to it being in the UK charts back in 1982, and a school coach day trip from my school in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, about 30 miles away. We went to the Royal Pavilion that day.
