I just bought one from Thomann in Germany. $1259.00 US! I can't believe they came in stock again, as I thought they were discontinued?

It looks like it is really discontinued ! Maybe there are few left on stock, either on Thomann's or on other retailers connected to them ! On Viscount website it appears they did not resume the production on Physis ! Good luck with your purchase ! For me it was Physis K4 or Doepfer LMK+ 88 but the last one appears to have some issues and too wide for my desk.

@@tonigeol291 I looked at the Doepfer as well. I just wanted the full array of sliders that the Physis has. And yes, Thomann said that they got this one last shipment of the K4s and weren't expecting any more from Viscount. Were the import duties expensive for you?

@@seanmcdermott7256 No duties Sean. I live in EU and there are no other import duties between EU countries, except the VAT. We pay the full price with VAT most of the time. If you purchase it on a VAT registered company, then you can buy it VAT free from Thomann, wich is 19% off the listed price.

@@tonigeol291 One of the reps from Viscount with whom I e-mailed after my purchase said that the K4 and K5 are being discontinued because Viscount couldn't find a manufacturer for the components for both. How sad!

Do you like the keybed, is it noisy ? How is the action ?

From the perspective of a hobbyist, i can say that the keybed it's not noisy, it's a little bit (more) on the hard side, but i like it, feels sturdy. The action ? I can not say that it gives an impressive real piano feel and response, although i find it perfect for music production of any genre and keyboardists.

Boot time seems long. It is always like that?

Yes it is ! 1minute and 30 seconds boot time...everytime ! There is though a "sleep" option, when some led lights stays on, but in this case, the boot time is instant...
