A beautiful shipping method for a beautiful Vise... I had a dealer that shipped me a couple vises and he lined the box with 1" Pink rigid foam insulation, then double boxed it and used stranded packing tape.. As much as the gorillas at my local post office tried to damage the box they couldn't! That Pink Rigid foam insulation went up in price but it is really a good barrier for brittle cast iron. Great stuff!

What is the largest vise you have. My grandfather was a blacksmith and had a railroad shop vise that came from the shops in Renovo PA. It was the largest one I ever saw the balls on the handel were 3" diameter jaws were 16 " wide and opened about 20" it was a monster. It had to be to survive in a railroad shop
