Visevnik peak / Triglav national park - hiking in Julian Alps in Slovenia

Visevnik is one of the most visited mountain peaks that are around 2000 meters high in the whole of Slovenia. This peak is 2050 meters high and it's not so hard to reach it. The view from the top is simply amazing. Visevnik is part of the Triglav national park which is part of the Julian Alps.
The most famous route to this peak starts at Pokljuka sports center which is already 1300 meters above sea level. You just need a little bit more than 700 meters to reach the Visevnik peak.
The first part of the hiking trail goes through the ski area and it's pretty steep. The trail continues through the forest after which there is a clearing and nothing but grass and stones around you. When starting from Pokljuka, you'll need around 2 hours to reach Visevnik peak.
