I have seen many comparisons between Korg and Yamaha, in my view some tones are better on Korg while some acoustic instrument sound are best on Yamaha. But when we compare technologies and functions Korg is way better, Yamaha hasn't improved much. Korg keyboards can even compete with Roland synthesiser's sounds with lots more functions than Roland.

Turn off the effects on korg. Like insertion effects or dsp or variations. My suggestion. If any one interested to buy korg. Buy an midi keyboard and Laptop with Daw. We can produce high quality music. (If we have money take yamaha montage) For solo performance Yamaha is the best keyboard. I hate korg with the price range. I select psr sx900 instead of korg pa700 or pa 1000. Thank you

I have listened to this comparison U-Tube video and thank you so much for sharing this video. It has certainly made my mind up, and in my humble opinion the Yamaha has much richer and fuller tones to my ear with regards to all the instruments demonstrated. So Yamaha PSR-SX700 is the one I will be purchasing.

For such a critical analysis, I would have preferred the recording to be done for both the keyboards from the same spot / angle. Top for Yamaha and side for Korg can make a big difference for a critical review.

Compare psr sx 900 with pa 700 this isn't fair comparision the price difference is way too much. Its obvious that pa 700 will win as It comes above 1 lakh INR while psr sx 700 has MRP of 81000 INR this absolutely is no fair comparision,though psr sx 700 has put up a good competition. One thing must be appreciated that the player is good😁❤️❤️,lots of support from vivi dazzle04.

My GS 13+ desires an update. He listened to your video and liked Yamaha. I am not very sure. Yamaha sound looks little artificial and loud. Timbre, tonal quality and depth of PA looks better. Same location, same angle and same decible for both would have been better for comparison. Anyway, it was a nice effort. Thanks.

Could anyone please help me with this ? I have been tired of choosing one. Korg pa700 is an old one when compared to SX700 and sx900. Gradually I will have to replace the keyboard I buy now, after a few years when a new one comes. So considering the seniority, is it worth buying ? Or should I go for pa1000 ? My requirement is to create music, record it to USB and release it in my KZbin channel. Also I will have to play in small scale functions. Using a DAW software is the best option. But if it's a keyboard which one I should choose?

I would suggest korg but there is a learning curve... If you want to be hassle free go sx700
