Very interesting interpretation of Vishnu sahasranama, I came across When you hold your child in your arms even when they are at an age they can’t understand what you are saying , you tell them , you are intelligent, you are smart , you are pretty , you are kind , you are brave , you are generous .. etc . Though they may not understand you , you still hope it gets into their subconscious mind to surfaces later to give them self confidence . Similarly When you chant 1000 names of Vishnu glorifying his character , it should be addressed to your inner self in the heart where HE is residing . The way you expect what you told your child what he is capable of , you want the inner self to understand its character and what it is capable of. Hence it should be chanted focusing your mind on your heart chakra where your soul resides.
