Certain truths I wish people in my family could accept but they aren't ready, I don't mean to call myself any smarter in some egoic way, I suppose there really is no self. At the same time though I can't ignore that some are still suffering far more than others far more than they need, longer than they need and it's unfortunate. Evolution is a beautiful process but we've mostly made it into a curse.

Carl Jung - ego inflation

What?
@astounded4546 Жыл бұрын
@@victorlevy1 As we practice self acceptance and being present, we are reconciling more energy that is otherwise suppressed by resistance. One of the possible pitfalls of integrating this energy, if we are not yet willing to let go of the ego, is ego inflation. The ego will attempt to contain and own this new heightened consciousness on its own terms. This never works and it causes an inflated ego as a result of its vain attempt to encompass it. Some people get delusions of grandeur and may even believe they are some kind of a savior.

the go only 'disappears' for moments in a human life, if at all. No matter how deep into satori you go, if you go on living it comes back. Humility, if there were such a thing, would be an ongoing habit or virtue. So humility doesn't really exist, according to you?

Come to public satsang and talk to me live. Satsang is held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights for free.❤️🙏🏻

Humility is very real, but for a time may only be a momentary experience for a seeker. However, the ego can only, at best, portray a false humility - the sirens song, lulling us into a false and brief sense of contentment that soothes our self indulgent need for immediate gratification. I was blessed to encounter a few fierce individuals who engendered in me a great sense of trust and respect (impeccable combination). The first was a nun in my first grade elementary school, the second was my high school algebra 2 teacher, and the third was my tae kwan do teacher. What they all had in common was that they were fierce, but neither mean, nor angry, and I had absolute respect for, and trust in them. The common thread of my experience with each of them was that I was inadvertently ignorant by either losing focus, or disrespecting them. They in turn let me know,in no uncertain terms, that I was not only disrespecting them, but also myself and that we both deserved better! That message came through loud and clear with just the call of my name and a knowing fierce glare! Because of their unyielding fierceness and my implicit trust and respect for them, their intent went right through me as a pulse of undeniable emotional energy. As the energy rose up from my gut, my immediate sensation was shame. A split second after it transformed into humility. Then clarity. Finally, I was left with a lingering feeling of pure gratitude for the gift of this experience. Had I not trusted these gifted teachers, I likely would have been triggered to trap this upwelling of emotional energy at the gut level and the result would have been either anger or rage, but their impeccable character and my resulting trust and respect, allowed that pulse wave of emotional energy to flow through and ignite those levels of transformative consciousness within a heartbeat. I’m not currently enlightened, nor do I live in a state of perpetual humility, but because I’ve been blessed by my experience with those beautiful fierce people, I now have another point of conscious reference where I know that true humility, clarity, and gratitude actually exist as real virtues, and it gives me more impetus to persist and delve further to find the courage of my convictions - try fail, try fail, and try again……………………until you do. You ultimately will! Once beckoned to the call, momentum will be gained and momentum will ultimately beckon success! BTW the virtue of patience is also very real. It’s also known as inner silence.

BS to say that you’ve never been concerned with what others think of you (rationalizations don’t negate actualizations). Well then, I guess that just makes you better by default than the rest of us. The more important test of your muster, is can you be triggered by what others think of you and remain with the experience of that triggering to extract the energetic value of it for your ultimate benefit? Unfortunately for you (according to you), your innately superior nature never afforded you the benefit of such an experience.
@toshprem Жыл бұрын
I’ve found that all really successful people have this trait of not being concerned by others opinions. Just because it is not your experience does not mean it’s BS. You should come to Satsang, talk to Vishrant and get to know him a little and see for yourself ❤🙏
@astounded4546 Жыл бұрын
I could be wrong, but I believe that not having concern for others opinions is either a learned trait for self protection (ego), if not, it’s likely an innate symptom of a sociopath. Either way, such a being, at that point, is not only incapable of experiencing the benefit of being triggered and riding that pulse of energy, but also incapable of relating to those of us that can. He may be an enlightened master, but he may also not be capable of being a benefactor to those students who are cut from a different cloth than him. BTW I might consider participating in a Satsang, but he could also consider responding to my comments directly. I’m not a fan of this by proxy situation here. I welcome the input from others such as yourself, but I don’t detect that he responds personally.
