Without a living master no method, howsoever beautiful it is, works. In fact it is the master, his presence, that is real thing, not the methods. With an alive master everything works; with a dead master nothing works. Let it be settled forever in your consciousness. That's why beautiful methods later on are found to be bogus. It is not the methods, it is the master, it is the man behind them, it is the golden touch, the magical touch of the master, it is his charisma that works. -OSHO, Talks on Ko Hsuan's, The Classics of Purity, Tao The Golden Gate, Chap. 2, Existence is creativity.

OSHO: Find A Living Master - Don’t Cling To That Which Is No More Search and you will always find, because the earth is not barren, it is always produces. Whoever is thirsty will find the well somewhere. Rather than getting lost into words, use your time in finding a charismatic personality, a living mystery, a man who has become a legend while he is alive. And when he is gone, be grateful for those moments that you lived with him. Be grateful for all that you have learned from him but don’t get stuck there. Find out, and now it will be easier for you to find out because you have tasted one mystic, you know the taste, you know the vibe. You will be easily pulled towards the direction where you will find another awakened being. Only bodies differ, the experience of awakening is the same. So I don’t want anybody to remember me, even when I am gone. If you really love me, I would like you to find someone of the same quality, so that your love goes on growing, your being goes on maturing, so that one day you are also in a state where you can help thirsty people to quench their thirst. As someone who's been initiated by Sadhguru into Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya, Sadhguru has an energy field which is quite intense. I have attended his live satsangs online and one in person and I felt very emotional when I saw him smile... the intensity made me cry like a baby(not out of sadness or bliss). I have felt that feeling before and there were times when I thought of him. A guru doesn't have to act in any particular way. Hence, Sadhguru does dodge questions sometimes questioners try to trap him. Unless there's a guru has committed a serious crime, you don't know if they are fake for sure. With me, Sadhguru is quite strict through his presence but also gentle when need be. As Sadhguru says, "Drop all your conclusions." It is because of Sadhguru I learned to respect masters of all kinds. Otherwise, I would have concluded Osho as a fake. I used to think Sadhguru was a fake too, because he told people to drop all our belief systems.

A question dropped into my mind while watching this again, this man suggests to show osho videos and refer everyone to osho. Funny video! 🤪 I am just here, to say that I have been also a younger Osho sannyasin, who never actually met to Him (I born in 1989). And I was also a little bit like Jon, I thought Osho is the best and I should care basically about Him. But even though I pushed my limits in meditating more (and also watching, translating His videos) and more, things got literally worse and worse 😅. And I read from Him that one also has to drop meditation techniques at one point. And I felt to do that. And the same time I felt to meet a living person, who owns THAT. A living Osho. And I found Him. He is not a superstar like Osho, but He made me to got the point and He has an ingenious way of 'teaching'.💚 I do not know if it is a must, but I am sure it is a highly recommended thing to be under the wings of somebody who is already mastering awakening! 💜 Osho might have been one of the most genious awakened people of our times, but I my own experience, is that no dead awakened master can worth more than a living one. I am 100% agree with Vishrant on this! 💙🤗 Greetings to Vishrant and Jon as well! 💚❤️

If it resonates with others and helps them I don’t see a problem. John is entitled to his opinion and his path too. However, it is better to have a living Teacher who can deal with individual situations and the current state of the world.

Jon, someone gave me some good advice once. They said it’s okay to promote your own views without the need to knock on others. In other words, start your own channel and be the biggest Osho promoter on the planet. Live stream his lectures all day long. Focus on yourself and the message you want others to connect with. You don’t have to bash someone else’s channel in order to promote your own. I’ve watched Vishrant’s videos for over a decade and I feel he’s added great value to my life. You gave him two episodes before you formed your very strong opinion. Relax man! Focus on yourself and your path. We’re all okay out here. Everyone has the right to gravitate to whoever they want.

Yep :) I love Osho and love is a natural phenomenon. Or, as Samdarshi once said to me, consciousness gravitating towards consciousness. By itself, so to speak. But had anyone ever tried to convince me of Osho and told me what I SHOULD do or not do, or pushed me in any way, told me who to be interested in or what to believe, I would have run away for sure. Osho is a freedom bird and never forced anyone into anything. He graciously accepted people coming to him - and never prevented anyone from leaving him. That's why I lingered on and that is why I hang around my present teacher. No ties. Meaning full responsibility. That's why, dear Jon, I am doubtful whether you are doing yourself or Osho or anyone else much of a favor 😀 except for the entertainment of course. Osho was not really a friend of missionaries either - he made fun of them 😀. So in my view there is a misunderstanding on your part. What does it matter whether Vishrant is a fraud or not? Maybe he is a fraud; who knows. There are so many fraud teachers on the planet. No need to get involved. Let them be 😇 and turn towards yourself ... that is the only place where change can happen 😀🙃 Much love Gyandip

@@gabrieleschulze7627 typical misunderstandings. I've been seeing these great "understandings" for so many years, - almost every day one can come across these great "understandings" - that I am bored. Unless you put something at stake I won't even answer on the subject. Something really expensive and painful - a big stake is needed, so that you'll feel it when you lose. Otherwise, just chatting, talking, is easy. Are you really involved , is this subject a matter of life and death for you? If you're right then get into the discussion till the very end, and for that you must first say what you're going to put at stake. Otherwise, I know usually people with these misunderstandings (which to them look like great wisdom), they contradict you (by telling you "hey why do you contradict others") then run away like cowards. there are many Osho "free birds" out there who love Osho so much - IN THEORY - , that they don't even feel they are Osho's disciples. They feel they are free birds, not disciples. What is the difference between devotion and idol worship? Idol worship is when you like Osho's ideas, which are actually your own ideas, projected. Misunderstanding and twisting. You're not interested in the being of the master, you're interested in ideas. Intellectual "love". An idol worshipper is not thirsty to dissolve into the master.

Real Master vs Fake Masters Intellectuals can talk about all kinds of things. Catch hold of their necks and ask them, "Is it your own experience?" -- and just look in their eyes. You will be surprised that out of a hundred perhaps you may find one man who is speaking out of some experience; otherwise, all is borrowed. And all that is borrowed is simply crap. These people have harmed humanity more than anybody else because they speak beautiful words, but those beautiful words are dead. And because of these people it has become difficult to find a real master, because there are so many fake teachers all over the world. This is the greatest dishonesty that man can do to humanity. You can cheat people out of money, there is nothing much in it; you can be a con-man and do all kinds of deceiving... it is all okay with me because it does not matter whether the money is in one's pocket or in somebody else's pocket; the money is in the pocket -- that's all. It is not a great loss in any way. But the people without experience who are pretending to be masters are really harming you spiritually. They are giving you words which are dead -- they mean nothing -- and they are preventing you from finding the right man. When there are so many fake people, the greater is the possibility that you will get caught by some fake person. And the fake person is always nicer, more persuasive; he talks in a way that supports your prejudices. The master does not care about your prejudices... he is out to destroy them. He cannot be nice like the fake people, he has to be hard. Only those who have a real longing -- like a thirst -- to become enlightened, to reach to the source of their life, can tolerate the hardness, the strange behavior of the master. He is not going to be according to you. You have to be according to him. The fake master is always ready to be according to you --that fulfills your ego. But the real master can not be according to you. He is bent upon destroying your ego completely, he is bent upon taking away your mind completely. He leaves you only a clean space. In that silent, clean space is your realization. It is not an achievement, it is only a discovery. Okay, Maneesha? Yes, OshO. - OshO The Great Zen Master Ta Hui: 05

Yes, Osho said that you can go to other real gurus and be in touch with their energies, but he never said to leave a guru simply because he is dead. He said to continue his work, continue to meditate, and in that silence, you will get the inner guidance from the guru himself. And, he even said if a disciple is really in tune with me, I can even communicate with him when he talked about the "mala" as a device to communicate with Osho even after his death. Even after his death, they are always available if the disciple is really receptive. EVERY ENLIGHTENED BEINGS ARE AS AVAILABLE AS THEY WERE IN PAST TO THE REAL SEEKERS OF TRUTH. And what surprised me is, you couldn't even give him a good reply. All you did was, dodge the question. If somebody had said the same thing to Osho, he would be like a fire and so humorous at the same time making the questioner's ego shattered into pieces. He really was the guru who shattered egos with his truth.
