Anand is a beast, wish all the other former world champs were aging as gracefully

Who wouldn't want a podcast episode with Anand? Would love you to ask him about Kramnik's conduct as well - as they are good friends and Anand hasn't said much about it from his stand point as Fide deputy president.

Yes! It would be fantastic if you could make a podcast with Vishy Anand!

yup a 2 hour podcast with vishy anand would be great....when you do please ask him this question untill may 2011 he was world no 1 and from then on he lost form and only won 1 classical game in 2012 and lost world championship to magnus in 2013...in what part of his game did he see a clear decline in his play although he still won candidates tournament in 2014 and world rapid championship in 2017

Thanks for the idea!

I doubt if Anand would like to go into this uncomfortable phase of chess career. He usually doesn't have many interviews of carlsen matches.

I was really sad when the world didn't play Qg5. Many of us were discussing and saying to play that move in the private team chat. There was just too many low rated players that voted without looking at what other players were saying.

What did you think would happen! I predicted exactly this before the game even began

@Phurngirathaana I mean the game between Danny Rensch and the World went a lot better. But ya I guess I shouldn't expect anything when it's a world game.

How did they prevent 60000 people from using the engine?

Not everyone is cheat.many people choose to play fair. Kramnik theory is a special theory of chess insanity.

He is 55 years passed still world no eleven in the modern chess world . Nobody can ever achieve that status except Mikhail tal supposed to be the same .

What separate the 2800 chess player from 2700 or below , and specially how they calclulate and sees the board. How deep in terms of moves they go. How many hours of chess study ? Famous books that a 2000 rated chess player should read. Is vishy game and opening note of 2008 or before still holds or is this worst in todays opening advancement ? Does calculation always work brut force or is it something internally wired like intition or some picture flashes. Probably caruana , gukesh are pure brut force calculator. Where does carlsen , kasparov , kramnik , fisher , ivanchuk fit in calculation ?
