Looks very good and it would be a perfect upgrade for my Godox light. I never max that one out though, so I'll stick to that one. Thanks for uncovering this!

A small difference in color rendering is not enough to outweigh the convenience of controlling the light from one application. I understand that in this way large manufacturers with a full range of products consolidate their monopoly, but well, apparently I'm ready to fall for it.

It's understandable. I use almost all Amaran products for that reason. For people who just need a few lights, or are on the lowest budget, or want the best light output regardless of brand, it's good we have this option!

Did you test this with the Amaran 200xs?

Yes, the 200x S I tested was pretty much identical to the iFootage SL1 200BNA in terms of color accuracy, which is very, very good. This light just happens to be a step ahead of both of them somehow!

@@NewLayer when did you review the 200x S? I saw the review for the first one and the data is on your site, but not the data for the second one.

@@mrshaheedmalik I did not do a video on the 200x S, but I did test it. Unfortunately, the results were not saved to my Sekonic C-800 because the memory was full at the time, so I wasn't able to post the stats. If I ever get another chance, I'll at least re-measure the 200x S and post the results.
