The recast of her brother was to mess with the fans. In the Avengers movies, Pietro was played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. He was shot in the chest 3 times and killed. Evan Peters played the same character, Pietro, in the X-Men movies, which took place in a different universe (the X-Men movies were made by Fox, not Marvel). So this was teasing the fans. That ending was a huge deal at the time because fans wondered if the X-Men were going to start appearing in the Marvel movies. I’m not going to tell you the outcome because that would be a spoiler, but rest assured, Evan Peters appearing at the door was a huge thing! 😊

That’s one thing I did know! lol I knew X-men and marvel weren’t in the same universe. That’s why I was sooo confused!! I’ve seen the X-men movies so I recognized Evan peters but I had no idea he was Pietro lol so I knew it had to be a mistake. That’s why Wanda was like who the hell is this 😂
