Cool. This video was so helpful, especially, the bearing size. Thank you so much.

Grease or lube in the freehub mechanism?
@joaobrito1801 Жыл бұрын
Hello! My freehub don´t have that ring/spacer, and I can´t take the first bearing out. I already tried to remove both by making a extractor that sits on the back bearing but doenst worked, any help?

OK, but how did you get here? I can't figure out how to get the freehub off the hub. It's a thru-axle disc rear hub etc. No spots for hex wrench

Same question for me

Did you manage somehow please? Same problem here…

@@Jerecek After wayyyy too much nonsense, I had my LBS take it off for me. It's just friction, so if you can get a good grip ( key) you just....pull. one mechanic thought he would be able to just grab it with his hands! There's apparently a tool for doing that that grips smoothly and without scarring all the way around. I.e. DO NOT use pliers, etc.

@@adamholland7054 Thanks a lot! Looks like I am “lucky” again with something 😅 Need to check inside. When I get any weight on bike, freehub stops running smoothly.

@@adamholland7054 Well just to inform - it was really about pulling it by hand 😅 And not “freehubbing” only while I put weight on bike got solution - dirty spacer inside the freehub body.

How would I know if I need to replace or service these hubs/bearings?

You will have play in the cassette ( side to side movement)
