Watched this. Was frustrated you didn’t play the cape so you can get stalwart so I built a vision protection deck and nova aggression deck. Played the same scenario but standard II (which I think has aged so well) and had a lot of fun getting cape turn one and never being confused or stunned😊

I love how this game encourages people to try different things to solve problems! I tend to think of his cape as a very situational card, and it’s likely his worst card. I don’t often play it but it can be useful sometimes! Happy to hear this video inspired you to pick up and play a game too!! 😊

Vision winning? Aha 19:20 you do not take the damage from the attack just gloat about how it didn't tap you. Given you end up at 1 hp this is more relevant than usual. I wouldn't say choosing not to flip after seeing your hand when you clearly lose if you flip was fine. 31:30 there about. Not adding the 2 threat in stage 1 is more dubious, then you got unlucky with an Advance. That's more like the Vision I know! Shade aside it's obviously very tough to play & narrate & record (unless you are Web Warrior Fanatic) . Sound remains great. Ideally you would have more diffuse light but there's only a tiny bit of glare so it's OK. I though I posted this yesterday hmm.

Thank you so much! I do really appreciate the attention to detail to help me navigate. This is gameplay video number 2, I’m sure I’ll make more mistakes. But also, we all make mistakes! And it’s okay to not play perfectly. I’d argue making mistakes is more representative of the player base at large. So I’m a man of the people!

@@WinningHandPodcast Indeed I doubt I have ever played a clean game given the number of mistakes I do catch myself making. The worst are those things that tick that are not just the step 1 threat like Zola, Magneto & Apocalypse 2.

@ yeah, there is a lot to track. Usually playing with others at the table helps to catch things, and although I make plenty of mistakes in solo, it’s magnified when you’re playing on camera and I’m using brain space to do other things. The more I play on camera the more that should abate…

I definitely made some mistakes! If you’re looking for playthroughs that don’t have mistakes, I think my channel isn’t for you. I don’t try to make them, but they are a natural part of the game!

@@WinningHandPodcast pretty much everything is opposite hero/ villian placement the main scheme the villian deck the only thing we do the same is where the player deck goes you even put the discard pile below instead of above I know there's no official layout for these things but it's almost like your breaking all the standard card game set up norms on purpose and it's fing with my ocd.
