Oh hey, this was my suggestion! 😄 The female vocalist is Clementine Delauney, and the male vocalist is Michele Guaitolo. The orchestra is the Bohemian Symphony Of Prague.

Yes, the same orchestra that worked with Sabaton in the recent past. It is the second biggest one in Prague that focuses on other projects besides purely classical music. The biggest one is the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra that Epica used for recording of the upcoming album and they already used it for MaYaN.

Some Visions of Atlantis songs to listen to are Winternight both the 2004 version and the 2016 version which was released as a tribute to their original singer, Nicole Bogner whom passed away in 2012. Return to Lemeria, The Deep and the Dark, Heroes of the Dawn, Nothing Lasts Forever and A Journey to Remember are more recent stuff that are great to listen to.

They are really good like Nightwish/Epica they opened for Ayreon like how they not got more subscribers

Their official videos are also very nice, starting with "A Journey To Remember", "The Last Home " and "Nothing Lasts Forever", but even the simpler made videos like "Return To Lemuria", "The Deep & The Dark" and "Heroes Of The Dawn" are something i really enjoy watching for their style.

That was a nice reaction video, but I have an addition to 7:04 because me and my friends obviously were some of the people who "just standing there" haha xD We are really huge fans of the band! Well, at this show VoA played this song live for the very first time and the album "Wanderers" had not yet been released at that time. We didn't know the song before and were totally curious about was coming. Probably we looked bored than excited at this moment but you can believe me we were so impressed by the whole song and show and we also did a lot of headbanging, singing and cheering 😄 If you like VoA you have to check out their new stuff from their upcoming album "Pirates" which will be released on May 13th 😉 Greetings from Germany, Julia for VoA Sailors✨

Also worth a look from my point of view are the songs "Heroes Of The Dawn" (there is a video of the same concert - which is also available in full length on DVD/Blu-Ray), "Nothing Lasts Forever" or "A Journey To Remember".

Yes, I agree 100% with these suggestions.

This was a smaller ensemble than Epica used for Retrospect, because VoA did not really need all of the instruments that a full orchestra can offer. And you would need a space large enough to accommodate 70 musicians. It is still a pain in the ass to make it sound really well. :-) together with drums, guitars and vocals Visions of Atlantis is as old as Epica, I believe. But I fully discovered them only after Clementine had joined the band in 2014 or so. This line-up is still quite a recent thing as Michele Guaitoli joined the band in 2018. There was another male vocalist before him - Siegfried Samer. Michele is also a singer in a power metal band called Temperance and Visions of Atlantis´ style of metal has been in the last few years quite power metal-ish. Clementine is also a member of another that she tours with which is called Exit Eden with three other female singers (Marina La Torraca, Anna Brunner and Amanda Somerville) and they are doing metal covers of popular songs. I would still like you to check out MaYaN just to see what Mark Jansen was up while not being busy with Epica. Even just on your own. And please, give Cellar Darling one more chance as the song that you reacted to is probably the "weirdest" out of their repertoire. "Black Moon" or "Avalanche" from the first album are more straight-forward. You have already heard Ayreon, but not Avantasia ---- Avantasia - Lost in Space - Masters of Rock 2016 DVD Or something quite unusual which would be a pillow-fight in a moshpit ---- | The Anchor | - One More Day (Official Video)

second to MaYaN, 2 trained sopranos, 2,5 growly guys, 1 powermetal singer, tiny guitar player Merel. MaYaN - Rebirth from Despair [Live at Masters of Rock 2019] kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2a3gqSLeZxnhac is one rare occasion they were all present. Also drummer Arien and Mark are last members from Epica remained. Btw, first singers of MaYaN were Simone and Floor

Couple of thoughts... 1. I first heard of Visions of Atlantis in the summer of 2019. Roughly six weeks after that first introduction, I saw them live. Then, fast-forward to 2020, I was supposed to see them in the middle of March...but, that was the day that the world shut down. (I was also supposed to see them two days later, but that wasn't happening either. Dagnabbit!) 2. If you really liked Clementine's voice, you can also check her out in Exit Eden. They released a handful of cover songs in 2017. Definitely worth a look. 3. And, if you do check out Exit Eden (this is going to feel like we're going down a rabbit hole, so hang on), one of the singers in that group, Marina La Torraca, is in a band called Phantom Elite. And, they have released a pair of videos within the past month or so for new material ("Diamonds and Dark", and "The Race"). Also worth a look. New album, Titanium, comes out January 22, 2021. 4. And because it feels like I recommend the same set of bands/artists whenever I start down a path, I'll throw out two other bands that might be worth a look...Enemy Inside (who I saw Phantom Elite open for a year ago)...and Beyond the Black (who I saw open for Epica a couple of times at the beginning of 2017.)

Marina la Torraca is a monster! Enormous singer. For me in mi top of female singers: Floor Jansen (so so far away of the test) , Charlotte Wessels, Marina, Clementine, Annete Olzon and Tarja.

Oh hell yeah. Finally Visions Of Atlantis. Clementine is fantastic in this band. This band, like Coronatus has gone theough many lineup changes each with different styles I suggest Nothing Last Forever, Return to Lemuria, and Last Shut of Your Eyes (Clementine) to start. Then go back to the other singers
