Hey Gilbert, I got a JVC camcorder at a goodwill the other day and most everything's running fine and it's been a blast recording different things, though the power zoom doesn't work (I can hear the motor running inside though when I press zoom in or zoom out) and manual focus won't work, I was wondering if I could email you and see if you know what's up with it?

Hi! I actually had a couple camcorders where the power zoom etc didn't operate. Unfortunately I never had any experience fixing those. The only I can think of would be mechanism needing to be taken apart and cleaned out. Which might be a complicated job
