Take the time and visit the entire island. Palermo was nice but with the train and buses you can see some of the wonderful historic towns as well.

Non è vero. Sono stato a Palermo ad agosto ho prenotato un albergo vicino il centro,ho pagato quanto dovevo ,il servizio di pulizia camera era giornaliero. Ho pranzato e cenato nei locali di Palermo e ho pagato quello che era scritto nel menù. I prezzi sono esposti in ogni locale e nessuno paga più del dovuto. Quindi dire che è una trappola non è corretto. Sono stato all'estero e li si che sono stato costretto a pagare degli extra, che non erano sul menù quando avevo ordinato.

Certamente non è pulitissima,ma non è neanche così sporca. Io ci sono stato ad agosto ho visto nel centro storico dei sacchetti di spazzatura,ma nel resto della citta non ci sono questi problemi. Poi nei quartieri difficili questo non lo so.
