I have skied and boarded all over the west, and I have to say Red Lodge Mountain, and the town are wonderfull. No commercial big ski area rip off feeling. Nice people!

Been over Beartooth Pass! Scared me to death! 7-8 feet of snow on the right and 10,900 foot dropoff on the left

I'm from Santa Clara CA, 23 years old and I've never really ventured that far out of the bay area. Towns like this literally look like different countries to me. Really interesting to look at stuff like this.

That is an awsome presenttion , and an amazingly pretty travel destination. may i add, i was really blessed! Which route would you suggest for me to drive from Jackson Wy to Red Lodge , anytime between mid sept to around 20th oct 2019. Most likely around 20th of Oct. would i need a 4wd or will a small car do just fine. Could you suggest a Local outdoor winter clothing store pls? Would be nice to dine on Local Game while im in Red Lodge. Anything else? From Red lodge i would need to drive to Denver, along the way some awsome scenic autum/fall scenery would be nice pls.

Wayne - What exactly is your definition of a local? Is it not enough that the people in this video are working, living, shopping, and raising families in Red Lodge? Each of these individuals has committed a significant amount of time and energy to promoting this community as a tourist destination and increasing the tourism dollars coming to town. I'm certain that's more than you've ever done to improve Red Lodge's economic well being. You should be thanking these people, not bashing them.

Typical reply of the if you wasn't "born" in Montana you cant be from Montana...Even if you lived there more years than anywhere else...pompous snobs galore in this town..these folks want the tourism dollars but not the tourists..they bitch all the time about tourists..I know I was there and experienced it first hand as an outsider relocating and working in the industry at RLM!!! These locals are always worried about change..I agree with them as far as the dumb@sses form California and their liberal crap, but that's all..They in general are NOT welcoming to you, just your money!!! and then the attitude is get the hell out after you've emptied your wallets!!!

Leave Wayne alone he did nuthin wrong! He's just sayin that WE real montanians consider locals as people that were born, raised, and made there living here! So but out

Wayne, using your logic, I would assume that "local" is someone who was born here? Or could we take it up a notch and say that a local is someone who's ancestors have been here 2 generations, or maybe 3 or 4 or...? Grow up.
