My sheikh told me he went to Hajj and before returning home, a white man met him and ask if he knew Sheikh Muhammad Jamiu. He said Yes i knew him very well. The white man sent his regards to him. Getting back to Nigeria, My sheikh quickly board a ride and went to pay Sheikh Jamiu a visit and conveyed the message the whiteman ask me to deliver (greetings). Sheikh Jamiu asked my Sheikh what about the gift he asked you to give him, my Sheikh was confused and told Sheikh Jamiu he only sent words of greetings not items. Sheikh Jamiu said to him. You know you are my brother and your house is right at the back of my window, go now and bring what you brought from Mecca to me orelse i will enter your house and pick all i want. My Sheikh understood him very well and board a ride and get him some gifts, he smiled and blessed him. What a great Sheikh of islam (Seyidi Muhammad Jamiu)
