Have been a buyer of their hubs for over 30 years. Still all wheels working great. I am a lg BB of a rider from BMX, track, MTB and road. Only one set redone out of 9 sets of wheels from the 90's. Most of them on my BOSS bikes. I stand by them.

The comment on material from China makes me very uncomfortable. China has a lot of super high end supplier of Aluminum and Stainless Steel even Titanium, but just because of the low price of bike industry that can offer, such high end supplier mostly work with air crafts, car manufactuers etc with high sales margin industry.

To be fair, he only mentioned QC. It not about China’s ability to deliver, but a question of trust. Will the factory deliver what it promised?

@@azizuladnan2389 I agree. I think the speaker is referring to the desire for a well-established, reliable, consistent supplier. China is a very dynamic market. It might be difficult to identify the very best suppliers among the vast assortment. We old American guys might also let some xenophobia slip out, but we would know that to be a mistake.
