From the point of view of the original Woolworths store the interior is disappointing. Where is all the polished wood, and the huge staircases to the basement with their polished brass handrails. For a future video can you show us walking the elephants from the Tower Circus on to the beach for their exercise - set the time machine to Thursday morning in 1975.

The cafe in Woolworth’s, regular Saturday shopping trips in the early 70’s with mum ended up in one of the store’s for a treat, Woolworths was huge
