Once again, sitting far away in Canada, while watching, I could smell both the stink of the droppings of pigeons, dampness, and the eerie silence resonating within each room of this haveli. I would love to hear from the descendants of Rai Bahadur Puri, who used to live in this magnificent haveli. It also reminded me of the outstanding film Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam scenes when the haveli of the landlords in the film and the Iron grill on its staircase resembled iron grill in this haveli Thanks a lot for making this video and sharing it.💕👏👌👍🙏🇮🇳

Imagine what the house owner must have felt while leaving this home during the partition. People built these houses or havelis with dreams and aspirations, never imagining they'd one day be forced to leave due to partition. It's heartbreaking to even think about it. I really feel disappointed in our leaders back then-so many lives were sacrificed for their benefits, leaving people homeless and families torn apart. Even today, the issues between India and Pakistan, and between Hindus and Muslims, persist. We know the people of both countries are still connected, but it's the leaders and politicians who continue to divide us, just like back then...
