When you said “In the Uk you’re lucky when you get a smile” - I think it depends on where you go, I’m working 50-60hours a week, really unsociable hours but still trying my best to be nice and chatty- but sometimes customers don’t even try to chat back to you and it is demotivating and makes me feel stupid, I ask them a question and they just ignore it and then it’s just an awkward silence 😂 I think in the US customer service is so extra, cause they need the tips! This was my fav NYC vlog yet!xx

Although many American customer service people are lovely I’m pretty sure that because their wage mostly depends on tips that’s why they’re extra nice compared to us here in the UK 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

when I went to America they added 20% of the money onto the bill (which usually ended up being between £20 and £30 as a TIP) which honestly I think is so rude, like if we want to tip you we will I think its so rude to add it on the bill so its compulsory especially at that amount of money

Chloe Warfield in America its actually classed as rude NOT to tip, so although that seems really rude to us to add it on they literally rely on that extra money to make a living.

Haha I work behind a bar and have worked in fast food and I always say if I like someone’s outfit, makeup, jewellery but I always worry I sound creepy 😂 but lots of my customers appreciate it. Your NY vlogs are insane 😍

Anastasia is the best broadway show! I saw it last week when I was in New York! It’s not a Disney animation i think it’s a 20th century fox film and it’s so good! It’s about a lost princess in the Russian revolution who has amnesia so doesn’t remember who she is. We got our tickets discounted from the stall on Times Square! It was so good and even without knowing the story Cody Simpson was in it 😂

Every time i go to America i always say that their customer service culture/attitude far surpasses the UK due to how the industry works and how they literally rely on tips to live however generally people from the UK are much more polite e.g. saying thank you, please, sorry, holding doors etc etc. People from the UK are so courteous and polite and i would rather have that than over the top nice customer service. Also i absolutely the US it’s my favourite place to visit
