how long is the trail ? is it open 24/7? what gas station did u purchase the pass from

The trail is about 3/4 of a mile each direction, so a little under 1.5 miles round trip. It is slightly downhill on the way there, meaning it might take you a little more time to get back to your car with the slight uphill. The parking lot states only day parking is allowed, so I would guess the park is just open from dawn to dusk. We purchased our permit from Makah Mini Mart for $20 on our way there. The Makah.com website lists other purchasing locations and helpful directions for getting to the trailhead!
