I really appreciate your videos. Thank you. While there were some beautiful dogs, unfortunately the level of inbreeding is a killer. Two decades ago Caucasian Ovcharkas were living to 12 years and some more - leading very healthy lives. Now? They are dying between the ages of 5 and 8 years old. Cancers, heart problems and more - all due to inbreeding. Breeders inbreed for 3 reasons 1) To try and reinforce certain traits 2) Because it is way easier to breed to one of the dogs you own, and their relatives, rather to try and find an additional, and unconnected dog to breed to. 3) Because it's the fastest way to get more puppies to sell $$$$$. People who love this breed and want them to continue to be robust, healthy, disease free and long lived will reject these dogs and their breeders. Don't enable and make stars out of the breeders who do this to the breed we all love. Good luck

I agree. Many breeders are reducing the age of these dogs. The main reason is bad breeding, dogs in china being injected with steroids etc. The dogs in this kennel as well as the ones I have filmed will live longer than 12 years (If kept natural).

Maybe FCI show blood and the dogs bred for size all over IG who's owners love to list champions from the 80s and 90s in they're dogs pedigree but the majority of working stock even on the larger side will make 12.

I am only a few episodes in on my tour. The dogs I am filming are all great with livestock dogs, you will see on the next episode. In future episodes I will dwell more into the dogs working with livestock, you have to be patience.

Do you sell dogs and do you sell pregnant well bred females that have the attitude, temperament and braveness to protect from wolves huge ones , coyotes, bears,even lynx, and Bob cats. Powerful but not over built need the agility and stamina for chasing and capturing as a pack
