That tram ride looks very interesting! I can't imagine pulling a tram filled with people up steep hills using a pulley system!!

It is hard to imagine but they did it! It was probably super slow.

We had so much fun in Lisboa. We visited Belem, Sintra, and enjoyed some AMAZING Fado at Club Luso. We also rode a Tuk Tuk and had a blast. On our trip to Sintra to see Quinta da Regaleira, we decided to walk up the hill from the train. On the way, we passed what was an old abandoned Moorish mansion that had definitely seen better days. We seriously talked about maybe moving there, purchasing the property, and figuring out how much it would cost to renovate it. It looked like it would have been sold for a song. Two weeks after our return to the states, we read that Madonna had purchased the property so she could be close to her son who joined team Benfica. So much for that dream move.

Porto or Lisbon? Your opinion…
@AliceandGreg2 жыл бұрын
Alice liked Porto better but I can understand Lisbon's attraction. Lisbon seems more touristy and lively but there's a reason it is touristy. It has a lot to offer. If I had to pick one to live in, it would probably be Porto as it seems more low key.
