I recommend you to try a dinner cruise on The Chaophraya River starting from Icon Siam. It will cost you around 990 baht. This season will be perfect for overall sightseeing along the river.

Thailand, in general. people are nice except for some touristy area, some Tuk-tuks & some Taxies (without turning the meter on ), some tour/private guides, some Nightlife locations that you have to be careful not to get rip off. I've seen in youtube's videos shown them working in a group of people trying to scam tourists by luring them into their shops to buy expensive stuffs, so be careful. Also avoid fighting with people, just run. Walking at night is not safe in some locations, especially you go with a beautiful girlfriend, and also be careful about snatch and run away (off course, your phones and your belongings) ............ Actually, you should increase the level of watchfulness/guardedness when you plan to go to Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar, especially in Cambodia. Good Luck !!! .... 😃😃😃

If you are on a budget trip, I really suggest you to go Myanmar. It's next to Thailand and very cheap. The cheapest place I've ever been to.
