Very Nostalgic! Saw other side of Amit, a Tabla player, Great! You reminded me of my early days of Kolkata, then known as Calcutta, where I did my schooling and college studies till 1986. Since then had been to Kolkata several times but could never go and visit my school and college, but now I have made it a point to visit to both the places and relive those days one more time. Yes, we did touch their feet, and we did it because we really wanted to, not to show off. We did it when we arrived and again when we left. I didn't plan to make a video for my vlog when I visited them. I decided to record the moment later on, So I didn't record at the beginning. And when we were leaving, I again turned off the camera because I didn't want them to think I was bragging or showing off 😀. Bye the way my dad also asked the same question, and I explained it to him just like I'm telling you. But he said I should have recorded it.

"Mandir me paap kiyeho" That day I recall being seated on the fourth bench, I was texting my ex. Damn, that situation was so hilarious. This video evokes both sadness and happiness at different moments. There are numerous memories associated with NERIST. And then there's Pradip's College Canteen. Also, that infamous dialogue, 'Bhai, Ek tarti ka purti dena.' I missed Onil in the NANA Restaurant scene, '2 mei ek paratha dedore.' Thanks to Counting Miles, Hamara Amit, for inducing nostalgia. I pursued electrical engineering from nerist and completed my graduation in 2k14. The companies do come for recruitment depending upon the market situation. When i was in final year only 4 companies came for recruitment because of the recession in market and i was not able to crack even one. Currently Im serving in a Govt organisation.

Thank you for this video. I am a NERISTIAN - Its nostalgic going back in time to 20-25 🎉years ago when I used to study here - One can imagine if so much has changed in 10 years how much has changed in 20-25 years. Many things I hardly recognise while some things like the Old Institute, the Old Canteen, the Old roads, the field I recognise. When I used to study, the State Bank was not near the Institute but towards the Girls hostel while the Medical Block was not near the Gate. In its place, Police station was there. I did not see Nana Hotel, don't know if it is there or not but I swear and many from that time would swear it was one of the best. Nana's Chilly Chicken, Chicken Dry Fry, Boil vegetable, Aloo chokha, boil Dal with steamed Rice - I still miss and would swear was still the best for me after so many years even far better than many 5 star Hotel meals that I have tasted in life since then. Also, its nice to see Block-F. I was in Block-D. Also, nostalgic to see Dadu Hotel. Its still the same.
