Great content for Mt Aso! Sounds like cell phone interference on your audio. Depending on your setup an RFI choke or two can help prevent that.

Went here last year in June and did the helicopter ride for about $100. It was a clear day so we flew up and almost into the volcano. I was expecting red lava but it was green and white liquid splashing around. Totally worth it if you do the helicopter ride on a clear day!

Once again, the mountain trembled to emit a mouse. So we saw a sign, and food, and merchandise. And you make money from anticlimactic vids?

My visit to Mt. Aso: When me and my friends arrived at the tourist building near the middle of Mt. Aso the broadcast announced that the gas level is too high to go further, so we had a lunch, went to see the hologram, looked around the merchandise, then they say that the sites are clear. We purchased our ticket, rode the bus, and in less than one minute after we got off the bus at Section D, they announce that the gas is coming back again and we need to evacuate. Eventually me and my friends decided to just walk down to the bottom of the mountain (the lowest bus station with the horses and corns) on one of the hottest days in Japan. We did spot a helicopter on our way down that took us to the tip of the volcano, that was a great experience.
