Bonjour Ann. First of all, you looked very nice Ann, hair on point and clothes very nice😉. You and Louis Paul are just like us, every weekend we go driving around and getting to know more places, sometimes near and other times further, sometimes I search e.g. on Google maps for castles in a 100 km radius, and we pick one and go visit. You both are Polyglots, you speak more than 3 languages😉. The logs that you burn in the fiireplace, they have to be thouroughly dry, usually if you chop logs you have to keep them in a dry place for 1 or 2 years so they can become very dry. Usually when you order from a place that sells logs, they are already dried good (hopefully)😉 Maybe Louis Paul is right, your dogs are like a sheepdog cross a bit, the "Collie" race. Well now you tried bitterbal for the first time Ann, you know croquets in Holland? the ingredients are the same, just the shape is different😉 Traditionally the Dutch make 'oliebollen' especially on the 31 of december, my hubby goes outside in the backporch to fry the dough, because otherwise there will be too much smoke inside. But you can store them for a few days in the fridge. That little gate they had for the cats to go in and out of the house, you have also backdoors that have bigger ones in them with a ledge or plastic 'curtain' for dogs to come in and out. There are a lot of Dutch living in France. Ann did you get to read the message I send you through IG?
