Since nagstart ang pandemic, food production became one of my investments since alam naman natin lahat na it's a necessity. Kaya samahan niyo ko sa Palaya Shrimp Farm in Palauig, Zambales para macheck yung mga updates and developments sa farm. Parang mini tour na din ito pero this is just a glimpse kung ano ang status ng farm ngayon. I will also be joined by Sir Iggy na na-meet niyo na before sa aking birthday vlog na I celebrated sa Palaya Natural Farm last November.

Yang "rotator" po na tinatawag nyo is actually a paddle wheel, which function is for aeration purposes po. That is, to allow po the continuous supply of oxygen (dissolved oxygen/DO) para po sa shrimps (also, i guess, to regulate water temperature). Kapag mababa po ang level ng DO, or worst ma-deplete, mamamatay po ang mga shrimps. 😅

Hi Enchong! congratulations for investing in this very interesting shrimp culture system. my family was into this farming for over 20 years. Started from tiger prawn, to vanamei, to bangus, and tilapia. until the farm was not sustainable anymore due to the fact of lack of technology/information on proper water/waste management. because of such, it sent us all overseas out west and north to continue with our lives. we're planning to come back and hoping to practice the system you have this time. we've been seeing these system through youtube videos from Vietnam which are very impressive. we would appreciate very much if you could share with us information and technology with your set-up. we're farming in Mindanao. thank you and best regards!
